“Armed Intruder Shot at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate”

Date:

An individual armed with a shotgun and a fuel can was fatally shot while attempting to breach the secure perimeter of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, as reported by the US Secret Service. Although Trump typically spends weekends at the resort, he was at the White House at the time of the incident. The man, believed to be in his early 20s, was confronted by Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County sheriff deputy and was shot around 1:30 am on Sunday.

According to authorities, the man was seen near the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago property carrying the weapons. Sheriff Rick Bradshaw stated that the suspect refused to comply with commands to drop the weapons, resulting in law enforcement officers firing at him to neutralize the threat.

The FBI has called on the public to provide any information related to the incident and urged residents in the area to review their security cameras for potential footage. Special Agent Brett Skiles emphasized the importance of reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities.

Notably, Donald Trump has been targeted in several assassination attempts throughout his political career. Past incidents include a shooting in Pennsylvania in 2024 and a foiled plot in Florida, highlighting the ongoing security challenges faced by the former president.
