“ASK Italian’s Spring Menu Delights UK Diners”

Date:

Amid the ongoing cost of living challenges in the UK, many Brits are keen on selecting the perfect restaurant for dining out. With a desire to ensure value for their money, individuals are increasingly mindful of where they choose to eat.

Recently, I decided to explore ASK Italian’s latest spring menu offerings. ASK Italian has introduced a range of fresh and vibrant dishes inspired by the essence of Italian living. Notable additions to their menu include the Truffle Honey Prosciutto Pizza A Mano and a selection of creative cocktails such as the Pepperoni Negroni, Hot Honey Margarita, and Cherry Limoncello Meringue Cocktail.

To make the most of the new menu, patrons can enjoy three sides for £12. Additionally, for a limited time, diners can receive a complimentary Spritz of their choice with every May visit by downloading and signing up for the ASK Perks Rewards App.

Opting for the Bruschetta Pizzetta as a starter, I savored the combination of stone-baked Wildfarmed dough with pomodoro sauce, slow-roasted tomatoes, rocket, ricotta salata, and balsamic glaze. The flavors were delightful, especially when enhanced with a touch of chili oil.

While waiting for the starter, the manager surprised us with the Crispy Pepperoni nibbles, which turned out to be a delightful and addictive treat. Moving on to the mains, I selected the Pollo Roquito pizza, topped with roast chicken breast, Roquito pepper pearls, balsamic red onions, and Fior di Latte mozzarella, garnished with crispy prosciutto and rocket. The pizza was generously topped, and the dough was light and airy, showcasing the quality ingredients utilized.

We also indulged in the Sea Bass alla Mediterranea, featuring oven-baked sea bass with slow-roasted tomatoes, black olives, capers, and a buttery white wine sauce served on a bed of roasted potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach. The dish offered a delightful contrast of flavors and textures, with each element harmonizing perfectly.

To complement the meal, we selected three sides for £12, with the Hot Honey Luganica Sausages standing out as a personal favorite. The sausages paired excellently with the smoked chili jelly. The Seasoned Roast Potatoes and Bolognese Bites were also well-received, offering a mix of flavors and textures.

For dessert, we indulged in the Chocostachio Bomb, a velvety chocolate and pistachio mousse encased in Italian meringue. The dessert was a light and flavorful conclusion to the meal.

To accompany the dining experience, I sampled the Hugo Spritz and the Hot Honey Margarita Italiana, both of which were refreshing and well-balanced. The range of cocktails and mocktails on offer provided a variety of options for different preferences.

Overall, the new menu at ASK Italian impressed with its innovative dishes and flavorful offerings, making it a top choice for quality Italian cuisine. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I look forward to returning with friends soon to enjoy more of ASK Italian’s delectable offerings.
