Fourth-ranked Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime leads the Canadian team set to compete in the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be joined by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario for the event. The Canadian team, ranked 12th, is scheduled to face off against sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five match at Videotron Centre. The victor of this matchup will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals slated for November. In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a 3-2 score, while France qualified for the current round by beating Slovakia 3-1.
