“Bodycare Resurgence: 17 New Stores to Open in UK High Street”

Date:

Beauty retailer Bodycare is making a comeback on the UK high street by opening 17 new stores. The brand faced administration last September, resulting in the closure of all 147 existing stores. However, a recent announcement in April confirmed the return of Bodycare after being acquired by an investment group led by former Body Shop and Molton Brown CEO Charles Denton.

The retailer has disclosed the locations of the new stores on its website, with plans to launch 15 stores within a year. These new stores will feature content creator studios showcasing new products, along with demonstration zones and live broadcast studios.

The upcoming stores are primarily located in the North and Midlands regions, including Leicester, Northampton, Bradford, Leeds, and Wakefield. The first store set to reopen is the Sheffield branch at The Moor Shopping Centre, welcoming customers back this month. While an exact reopening date has not been specified, a message displayed at the store front states, “Sheffield, we’re so back.”

Bodycare has teased the possibility of more new stores in the future, indicating that they are just beginning their journey. Founded in 1970 by Graham and Margaret Blackledge, Bodycare offers products from popular beauty brands such as L’Oreal, Nivea, and Elizabeth Arden.
