After a night out celebrating his birthday at a nightclub, a British man mysteriously disappeared, sparking a frantic search effort. Raif McMillan, a holidaymaker from Blackpool, went missing after leaving Tramps nightclub in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife, on his birthday at approximately 6:30 am.
Concern grew among his friends and family when they did not hear from the 5ft 10in tall individual for over 24 hours, raising worries about his safety. Raif had updated his Snapchat story as he left the club and walked along the Veronicas Strip before vanishing, leading to online appeals to locate him.
According to reports from Missing Persons Tenerife, Raif later sent a private Snapchat message to a friend around 7:15 am, showing him inside a hotel with an unfamiliar male companion. Following extensive online appeals, it has been confirmed that Raif is safe and has made contact with his loved ones.
Missing Persons Tenerife disclosed that Raif had been robbed and had his belongings stolen during his disappearance. A spokesperson mentioned that Raif had been found, assured everyone of his well-being, and had been in touch with his family. Despite the unfortunate incident of the mugging, Raif’s family and friends expressed deep gratitude for the support and assistance in locating him, highlighting the caring and thoughtful efforts of those involved.
