“Deadly Shooting Rampage at Idaho In-N-Out”

Date:

Multiple fatalities occurred when a gunman entered a fast-food establishment and commenced shooting. The tragic event transpired at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in southern Idaho on August 1, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.

The shooter, armed with an AR-style rifle, was one of the deceased individuals, as confirmed by Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks. The identity and motive of the shooter remain unknown at this time.

Reports indicate that at least three individuals lost their lives in the shooting, with five others sustaining injuries. Hicks announced that the threat to the community has been neutralized, although the exact number of casualties is still being determined, and authorities are in the process of notifying the next of kin.

Witness Lane Koehn recounted seeing a person carrying an AR-style rifle at the In-N-Out drive-thru, prompting another individual with a pistol to open fire on the shooter. Koehn observed an In-N-Out employee assisting a wounded colleague, with paramedics later attending to her injuries.

St. Luke’s Magic Valley spokesperson Taylor Marschner mentioned collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services to manage the situation. The city of Twin Falls, with a population of approximately 56,000, is situated about 130 miles southeast of Boise and 75 miles north of the Nevada border.

Governor Brad Little of Idaho urged residents to keep the Twin Falls community in their thoughts and prayers as authorities respond to the active shooter incident near In-N-Out. He advised the public to steer clear of the area and adhere to law enforcement directives for their safety.
