Police are searching for a suspect following reports of two children being sexually assaulted in Derry. The incident occurred on June 8 in the Cedar Street area of the city, prompting an ongoing investigation.
The suspect is described as a slim white male with dark hair, believed to have been wearing dental braces during the assault. At the time, he was reportedly dressed in a green Superdry hoodie, dark trousers, and dark-colored shoes.
Inspector Ferriby of the PSNI urged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area on that day to come forward. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact detectives at 101, quoting reference number 1137 of 08/06/2026. Additionally, those with dashcam or other footage are urged to reach out.
