“Duchess Kate Bakes Homemade Cakes for Princess Charlotte’s Birthday”

Date:

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is gearing up to celebrate her daughter Princess Charlotte’s upcoming 11th birthday with a special tradition. Kate, like any dedicated parent, stays up late the night before her children’s birthdays to bake them homemade birthday cakes. This tradition was revealed by Kate during a 2019 BBC special called A Berry Royal Christmas, where she expressed her love for baking and creating special cakes for her kids.

Princess Charlotte, born on May 2, 2015, at St Mary’s Hospital in London, carries the middle names Elizabeth and Diana, honoring Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana. Known for her spirited personality, Charlotte is third in line to the throne and attends an exclusive school in Berkshire where she enjoys dancing, particularly ballet and tap. Kate has described her daughter as “the one in charge” in the family.

To mark Charlotte’s 10th birthday last year, Kate shared a photo of her enjoying the outdoors, taken by the Duchess herself. The young princess has been seen publicly with her family on various occasions, with the latest being Easter Sunday at Windsor Castle. Charlotte’s resemblance to her royal ancestors has been noted by fans, highlighting her connection to both Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana.
