“Ex-Palace Guard: Police Kept in Dark on Prince Andrew’s Female Guests”

Date:

An ex-security officer who previously worked at Buckingham Palace has revealed that he reported to the police regarding allegations concerning Prince Andrew’s involvement in bringing women to the royal residence.

The former officer disclosed that the police were kept in the dark about the identities of the women who visited Prince Andrew. Paul Page, who served in the security role from 1998 to 2004, accused the former Duke of York of obstructing official records by concealing the names of his female guests.

According to the ex-Met Police officer, he reached out to Thames Valley Police, who are currently investigating reports related to Prince Andrew. Despite vehemently denying any wrongdoing in connection with his friendship with Epstein, Prince Andrew is facing escalating scrutiny.

Mr. Page, who had been convicted in 2009 for involvement in a property scam, alleged that women would frequently visit Buckingham Palace to meet Prince Andrew without having security clearance. He emphasized that the lack of transparency regarding these visits posed a security risk, especially when Queen Elizabeth II was present at the palace.

The revelations regarding Prince Andrew’s association with the late Jeffrey Epstein have intensified pressure on him. Mr. Page asserted that security protocols prevented officers from knowing the identities of the female visitors, a departure from the standard protocol followed for other royal guests.

In his account to The Sun, Mr. Page highlighted that questioning the visits was discouraged among the staff to avoid repercussions. He underscored his decision to contact the police, stating his belief that the information he possesses could assist in advancing the investigation.

Reports from the Epstein Files have indicated that women accompanied Epstein to meet with Prince Andrew at Buckingham Palace. Calls for Prince Andrew to testify before Congress have surged following these revelations. Thames Valley Police are actively looking into the allegations concerning visits by women to Prince Andrew’s former Royal Lodge residence.

The Mirror has reached out to The Metropolitan Police for their input on the matter.
