“Family Mourns Kind Man Killed in East London Stabbing”

The family of a 35-year-old man who tragically died from stab wounds in an east London garden has paid tribute to his kind and joyful nature. Mark Orabiyi was found in a garden on Rayleigh Road, Silvertown, Newnham, after authorities responded to a stabbing report on Pankhurt Avenue around 9 am on Friday, according to the Metropolitan Police. Despite efforts to save him, Mr. Orabiyi was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Another man in his twenties, also injured in the incident, is currently receiving medical care but is expected to recover fully. In a heartfelt statement, Mark Orabiyi’s family described him as a beloved family member and friend whose memory will live on in their hearts.

The police have initiated a murder investigation, with three suspects taken into custody. A 27-year-old man has been released on bail, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released without further action after questioning. Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, leading the investigation, expressed condolences to Mark’s family and urged anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.

The police were alerted to the stabbing incident at Pankhurst Avenue, E16, at 9:00 am on Friday, and found Mr. Orabiyi with stab wounds in a nearby garden. The next of kin has been informed, and support is being provided. Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. The injured man in his twenties is in stable condition at the hospital.
