A delivery driver for fast food has been sentenced to six months in prison for indecently exposing himself to people while delivering takeout meals to their homes. Sethupathi Perisamy, 47, residing on Clifton Road in Slough, was found guilty of five counts of exposing himself.
Thames Valley police stated that between March 8 and May 11 of the previous year, Perisamy, in his role as a food delivery driver, visited several addresses in Maidenhead, Slough, and Windsor where he committed the indecent acts.
During a court hearing at Reading Crown Court, it was revealed that Perisamy was apprehended on May 16 and charged the next day for the offenses. Detective Constable Ashley Jones from Berkshire East CID mentioned that thorough investigations led to Perisamy’s conviction and imprisonment, emphasizing the impact of such sexual offenses on victims.
Perisamy was handed a six-month jail term and a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Authorities urge victims of sexual offenses to come forward and report incidents to Thames Valley Police through various channels, including visiting a police station, providing details on their website, or calling 101.
