“Fatal Car Crash in Nottinghamshire: Driver Charged with Attempted Murder”

A tragic incident occurred in Arnold, Nottinghamshire, where a car struck a group of pedestrians. Tyler Fairman, 26, lost his life in the accident, and four others sustained injuries. The driver, Duane Anthony, 40, has been charged with five counts of attempted murder.

Tyler Fairman was rushed to the hospital after the vehicle, a Vauxhall Astra, veered off the road and hit the pedestrians. Despite efforts to save him, Fairman passed away the following day, prompting the police to launch a murder investigation.

Duane Anthony was apprehended by the authorities and faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified, and driving without valid insurance. He is set to appear in court on June 8.

Woodthorpe Park Rangers FC confirmed that three team members, including the manager, were involved in the tragic incident. The club expressed deep concern for the player who remains hospitalized and requested privacy during this challenging time.

Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow expressed condolences to Tyler’s family and emphasized the ongoing support for all those affected by the collision. She urged the public to refrain from sharing videos of the incident online out of respect for the victims and their families.
