“Trump Reacts to Iran’s Missile Revival During China Visit”

Date:

President Donald Trump’s state visit to China started with a strong reaction to a leaked US intelligence report on Iran’s missile capabilities. Despite US military actions, the report indicated that Iran has regained access to its missile sites and storage facilities. Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had previously asserted that Iran’s military was severely weakened after joint US-Israeli operations.

Contrary to official statements, intelligence assessments revealed that Iran has restored much of its missile infrastructure, including launchers and underground facilities. Trump expressed outrage over the report, accusing the media of spreading false information that benefits the enemy. He reiterated claims of Iran’s military defeat, emphasizing the destruction of its navy and air force.

Despite public assurances, recent intelligence findings contradicted the White House’s narrative, indicating Iran’s readiness to cause regional instability. Hegseth’s claims of Iran’s military ineffectiveness were challenged by reports of Iran’s continued missile capabilities and political resilience against US pressure.

The US official highlighted Iran’s growing confidence in withstanding US pressure and maintaining domestic control. White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales defended US actions, stating that Iran’s military had suffered significant losses. She also emphasized Iran’s economic decline due to the blockade of its ports.

Amid criticism, Pentagon press secretary Joel Valdez condemned the media for allegedly supporting the Iranian regime. The ongoing debate over Iran’s military strength and political endurance reflects the complex dynamics between the US and Iran.
