A man in Brazil has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting his seven and eight-year-old daughters while his 10-year-old son allegedly witnessed some of the incidents. The 46-year-old suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody in Cascavel, Paraná.
According to the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR), the man is accused of repeatedly raping his young daughters between January 2025 and January 2026. Evidence gathered prior to the trial led to his detention pending court proceedings.
During the arrest operation, authorities seized electronic devices from the suspect’s residence for forensic examination. The man is currently in prison awaiting further legal action.
Following the completion of the official police investigation, the case findings will be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for review.
In a separate incident, a 41-year-old man was sentenced to 29 years and two months in prison for sexually abusing his daughter. The man was apprehended in Guaraqueçaba, Paraná, and later transferred to a public jail in Paranaguá after his conviction.
Additionally, a 23-year-old man was arrested on charges of rape and dissemination of child pornography after a swift police investigation prompted by the victim’s mother reporting intimate videos of her 13-year-old daughter circulating on social media. The suspect, identified as the teen’s ex-boyfriend, allegedly released the explicit content as an act of revenge. Police stated that the man confessed to the allegations, and his mobile phone has been confiscated for further analysis by forensic teams.
