A father from the UK has expressed doubts about reuniting with his child after deciding to engage in combat against the Iranian government in the Middle East. The 31-year-old individual, hailing from northern England, has journeyed to join Kurdish forces near the Iranian border due to personal grievances with Tehran. His motivation stems from the death of his uncle at the hands of the regime years ago, prompting him to forsake his family and join the fight following military actions by Israel and the US against Iran, resulting in the killing of the supreme leader.
Having faced arrest and physical abuse for opposing the Iranian regime during his youth in western Iran, the man’s departure to the conflict zone has left his loved ones shocked. In an interview with the Daily Mail, he expressed his willingness to risk his life for the cause of freedom, emphasizing his concerns for the people within Iran.
Despite possessing some combat training, the man clarified that his intent was not to harm but to assist others. He highlighted the presence of other foreigners, including Europeans, who have also joined the Kurdish forces in the region. Before departing for the battlefield, he bid a tearful farewell to his baby, underscoring the significance of his involvement in the struggle against the Iranian regime.
Stressing the oppressive nature of the regime, the man emphasized the lack of freedom, freedom of speech, and democracy in Iran, stating that those who oppose the regime become targets, motivating him to persist in his fight.
