“Fresh Analysis: Trump’s Declaration of End to Iran War Inaccurate, Terrorism Risks High”

Date:

Fresh intelligence analysis indicates that President Donald Trump’s assertion that the war with Iran has ended is inaccurate and is likely to incite terrorism and anger for an extended period. The conflict has led to a significant oil crisis reminiscent of the 1970s. Despite the US-Israeli coalition’s air dominance over Iran and substantial destruction of Iranian military assets, the regime has persisted and shows no signs of relenting.

Recent assessments align with previous predictions by the Daily Mirror that Iran is resiliently enduring the US and Israel’s onslaught. Tehran seems to hold the upper hand in certain aspects. Experts are concerned about a potential surge in terrorism across Western nations, including the UK, as a result of the ongoing conflict.

A report from the global risk assessment firm EIGENRAC highlights the likelihood of continued Iranian drone and missile assaults on Gulf states, Israel, and US bases in the region, albeit at reduced intensity compared to initial attacks. The region is anticipated to experience further casualties and infrastructure damage, particularly in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

The report emphasizes the probability of prolonged disruption and heightened risks in the region for the foreseeable future. It anticipates a prolonged conflict with escalating threats to aviation, maritime activities, terrorism, energy infrastructure, and humanitarian conditions in countries like Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran.

The report also predicts intensified Israeli operations targeting Hezbollah and warns of potential attacks on critical infrastructure such as desalination plants, airports, and energy storage facilities to raise the cost of hosting US military operations. Disruption to desalination plants could have disastrous consequences for the civilian population in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

While US and Israeli forces have achieved air superiority and inflicted significant damage on Iran’s military capabilities, Iran’s remaining drone and missile capacity pose a persistent threat across the region. Recent attacks near the Strait of Hormuz and Dubai’s airport have caused widespread destruction, exacerbating the energy crisis triggered by the closure of the vital oil transit route.

The US-Israeli offensive on Iran has elicited a forceful response, leading to a surge in casualties and significant disruptions across the region. The conflict has claimed lives in multiple countries, disrupted commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, and caused a surge in oil prices reminiscent of the 1970s energy crisis.
