Ghislaine Maxwell’s Never-Before-Seen Mugshot Revealed

Date:

A fresh mugshot of Ghislaine Maxwell, the former partner of Jeffrey Epstein, has been unveiled. The image, never seen before, was part of a massive release of three million pages of documents, emails, photos, and videos by the US Justice Department. The mugshot portrays Maxwell in an orange jumpsuit with her hair styled in a bun, thought to have been taken post her arrest in July 2020. Maxwell, a British socialite turned criminal, was apprehended in the US on six federal charges, including the transportation of minors across state lines for illicit activities, perjury, and exploitation of minors. Despite being sentenced to 20 years, she is currently serving her term in a medium-security correctional facility.

The US Justice Department announced the disclosure of additional records from the Epstein files in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a legislation that drew ire from Donald Trump. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed that the latest release included over 2,000 videos and 180,000 images among the vast array of documents.

These files contained more shocking revelations about the controversial duo. Jeffrey Epstein reportedly bequeathed Ghislaine Maxwell $5 million of his substantial wealth in legal documents. Epstein, who passed away in a prison cell in 2019, specified that if Maxwell outlived him, she would receive the sum. Maxwell was among nine individuals named to inherit $5 million each following Epstein’s demise. While some names were redacted, Epstein’s alleged former girlfriend Karyna Shuliak and lawyer Darren Indyke were also listed as beneficiaries. Notably, associate Jean-Luc Brunel, who met his end in a Paris prison cell in 2022, was another recipient.

Furthermore, new emails exchanged between Maxwell and an unidentified individual referred to as “The Invisible Man”, who signed off as “A”, were made public recently. The correspondence revealed Maxwell communicating with the contact, believed to be Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, also known as Prince Andrew. In one message from March 31, 2002, Maxwell addressed the recipient as “sweet pea” following the passing of the Queen Mother, expressing condolences and affection. Subsequently, “The Invisible Man” responded the next day, indicating a desire to speak with Maxwell. Prince Andrew has consistently denied any allegations of misconduct.
