The grieving family of a young woman, described as “amazing, kind, and beautiful,” who tragically lost her life in a car accident on Christmas Eve, have shared heartfelt tributes in her memory.
Saskia Weatherley, aged 29, met with the fatal crash while returning from a last-minute Christmas shopping trip at a local shopping center. Her Volkswagen T-Roc overturned on the M2 near Gillingham, Kent, after colliding with the central reservation.
The incident took place around 12:50 pm on December 24, 2025. The family, still in shock and seeking closure, has yet to receive complete details regarding the circumstances leading to Saskia’s untimely death. Authorities have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward with information.
In a poignant message on Facebook, Saskia’s mother, Julie Weatherley, expressed her profound anguish at the loss of her daughter, whom she described as irreplaceable and cherished. Saskia, a Ravensbourne University fashion design diploma holder, was actively engaged in creating a line of men’s accessories crafted from carbon fiber and was also involved in setting up a stable at the family residence before the tragic accident.
Her father, Richard, lamented the abrupt end to Saskia’s promising future, noting that she was on the brink of realizing her aspirations. Her brother, Max, reminisced about their close bond, highlighting the void created by her absence in their daily lives.
