“Indiana Boy Dies at Sleepover: Family Seeks Answers”

Date:

The parents of a five-year-old boy are seeking answers following their son’s tragic death after falling ill during a sleepover. Jagger Wing, a resident of Indiana, passed away on May 30 after becoming unresponsive while staying at a family friend’s residence in Newburgh. Despite being rushed to Gateway Hospital, Jagger could not be saved.

The exact cause of Jagger’s death remains unknown, with doctors focusing on examining potential underlying heart conditions. In an emotional interview with News 14, Jagger’s parents, Damon, 31, and Alexandria Wing, 29, emphasized the importance of understanding family medical history and genetic testing for preventive measures.

The grieving parents mentioned that their daughters have been screened for heart issues, but fortunately, no abnormalities were detected. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist the Wing family with medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and daily needs during this challenging time. The fundraiser has already raised over $22,000 to support the family.
