Jet2 has made an exciting announcement, bringing good news for British travelers. The airline celebrated the launch of its first flight to Samos from Manchester Airport, marking the beginning of a new Greek route for summer 2026.
Jet2 will now provide flights and holiday packages to the picturesque island of Samos, known for its stunning beaches and lush landscapes. The airline will operate flights twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays until the end of October. Following the Manchester flight, services from Birmingham Airport will commence on May 4 and from London Stansted Airport on May 7.
Weekly Monday services will run from Birmingham until October 26, with flights departing twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays from Stansted until October 29. Jet2’s CEO, Steve Heapy, expressed enthusiasm for the launch, highlighting the company’s commitment to providing customers with a wide range of travel options for a sunny getaway.
