Authorities have advised the public to steer clear of St Luke’s Church as road closures are in effect in the vicinity. West Midlands Fire Service has deployed around 80 firefighters to combat the fire, which broke out early in the morning.
The fire, spanning a large factory measuring 100m by 50m, has necessitated a significant emergency response with 21 fire engines, two 4×4 brigade response vehicles, and three hydraulic aerial platforms on-site.
