Residents in Scotland have expressed frustration and fear as they were instructed to evacuate due to a devastating wildfire in the Cairngorms National Park. The fire, which has been ongoing for ten days, has led to the displacement of families in Nethy Bridge and surrounding areas.

Sandy McCook, the chairman of the Nethy Bridge and Vicinity Community Council, described the scene as “apocalyptic” as thick smoke covered the region before residents were forced to leave their homes.
