A mother, Alison Riley, also known as Tatiana McIntyre, is currently missing, prompting a murder investigation by detectives. She disappeared after visiting her ex-boyfriend in Fresno, California, to see their two children. Concerns of foul play arise as both Riley and her ex-partner have not been heard from. Riley failed to show up to pick up her daughter from school, raising alarm within her family. Her rental car, with her belongings inside, was discovered abandoned in an orchard in Fresno on August 5.
Family members located the Zipcar rental using a GPS signal near McKinley and Academy and alerted the authorities. The vehicle was seized, and a search warrant was issued for Riley’s ex-boyfriend’s residence, her last known location. Riley’s phone last pinged at 1pm on August 4 at her ex’s property before losing signal. Police presence has been significant at the home since Wednesday.
During the investigation, Riley’s mother, Liberty Lopez, reported that homicide detectives were present at the scene. Lopez disclosed that she had been at the property since early morning seeking answers. Allegations of domestic violence involving the children’s father had been previously reported, including claims of choking and confinement.
Despite attempts to contact him, the ex-boyfriend has not responded to Riley’s family. They suspect he has not returned home since her disappearance. Lopez made an online plea for her daughter’s safe return, sharing details of the troubling events. The family is urgently seeking information and assistance in finding Riley.
