“Multiple individuals hospitalized after London house fire”

Three individuals, including a young boy, have been swiftly taken to the hospital after a residential fire incident in a suburb of London. The man, woman, and child suffered from smoke inhalation and were rescued from the terraced property in Morden, south London, with the assistance of numerous firefighters who responded to the scene. The incident, which occurred on Halesowen Road, prompted a rapid response from fire crews belonging to various stations in the area.

The London Fire Brigade received the initial call reporting the fire at 4:04am, leading to the dispatch of 10 fire engines and approximately 70 firefighters to the location. The specific cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The individuals affected by the smoke inhalation were given immediate attention by the London Ambulance Service on-site before being transported to the hospital for further treatment. The London Fire Brigade has confirmed that the fire in Morden has been contained.

Utilizing a 32-meter turntable ladder, firefighters are employing a water tower technique to extinguish the flames from an overhead position. The fire has engulfed the ground floor, first floor, and roof of the two-story end-of-terrace house, necessitating the deployment of crews from multiple fire stations in the vicinity.

Control officers at the London Fire Brigade were alerted to the blaze through a series of 17 calls starting at 4:04am, indicating the intensity and urgency of the situation.
