A woman’s body was discovered in a serene woodland area.
The body was found this morning at approximately 7:45 am in Killivose, Camborne, Cornwall, prompting the dispatch of emergency services to the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that they were alerted to the discovery of the body, according to Cornwall Live.
Although the woman’s body has been located by emergency services, her identity has not yet been officially confirmed. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to establish her identity and inform her relatives.
The circumstances surrounding the death are presently classified as unexplained, with a continued police presence in the vicinity.
A bystander mentioned observing a significant police presence, including three forensic vehicles, near the woodland area.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police stated: “A report was received at 7:45 am on Sunday, May 3, regarding the discovery of a body in the woodlands at Killivose, Camborne.
“Emergency services responded, and a deceased woman was located at the scene.
“A police presence is established in the area, and efforts are ongoing to formally identify the woman and inform her next of kin.
“The circumstances of the woman’s death are currently under investigation and are being treated as unexplained.”
