Stonham Barns Park, a popular UK holiday destination located in the Suffolk countryside, has recently gone into administration after nearly twenty years of operation. The park, which features attractions such as Stonham Golf Park, the Stonham Barns Theatre, a shopping village, and the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, filed for administration on February 16.
Joint administrators David Hudson and David Hinrichsen from FRP Advisory, a firm specializing in restructuring and insolvency, have been appointed to oversee the park’s operations during this challenging financial period. Their primary focus is to maintain the park’s operations while actively seeking a potential buyer.
Despite the change in ownership, all existing holiday reservations at Stonham Barns Park will be honored, and the park will continue to accept new bookings. Visitors can expect all facilities to remain open and fully operational throughout the administration process.
Mr. Hudson, a partner at FRP, emphasized that the park aims to continue business as usual, ensuring that guests with existing bookings are unaffected by the administration proceedings. Prospective visitors are encouraged to make bookings with confidence, as the park is actively being marketed for sale, presenting an opportunity for interested buyers to invest in a well-established and popular caravan park.
Established in 1987 and managed by the current team since 2001, Stonham Barns Park is conveniently situated along the A1120 tourist route, attracting visitors with its diverse range of leisure and entertainment offerings.
