Prince Andrew Arrested: Royal Treatment Ignored

Date:

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s 66th birthday arrest was shrouded in secrecy, with many officers at the station unaware of the operation. A former detective disclosed that despite his royal status, Andrew would have been treated like any other suspect during questioning, which likely came as a shock to him.

The former prince was swiftly taken to Aylsham police station in Norfolk after his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office at Wood Farm. Reports indicate that most staff at the Aylsham Police Investigation Centre were instructed not to report to work that morning, as officers processed King Charles’ brother discreetly.

Prior to the arrest, staff were only informed of the arrival of a “notable person,” with hints provided a few days in advance. To prevent any premature leaks, an IT shutdown was reportedly part of the police operation.

Following an 11-hour stint in custody, Andrew was released under investigation without prior notice given to Buckingham Palace or the King. The arrest, meticulously planned days ahead, exemplified the police’s commitment to upholding the law without bias.

Retired Met Police detective Peter Bleksley highlighted the thoroughness of the questioning, focusing on emails from the Epstein files. Norfolk Police reportedly executed a county-wide IT shutdown to safeguard the operation’s confidentiality.

Unmarked police cars descended on the Sandringham Estate to apprehend Andrew at Wood Farm. He underwent standard arrest procedures, including fingerprinting and DNA sampling, as part of the investigative process.

Police raids extended to Andrew’s properties in Norfolk and Windsor, with multiple police forces involved in scrutinizing information linked to the Epstein Files. Detectives are expected to meticulously search for electronic devices and written correspondence to gather corroborative evidence.

The immense scale of the investigation underscores the complexity of Andrew’s association with Epstein, prompting a thorough examination of all potential evidence. The Met Police’s ongoing review involves engaging with Andrew’s former protection officers for any pertinent information they may possess.

Despite consistent denials of any wrongdoing by Andrew, the investigation continues to unravel new leads stemming from the Epstein case revelations. The police are actively pursuing all avenues to shed light on the matter and ensure justice prevails.
