Formerly residing at Royal Lodge, the estate of the Queen Mother, for over two decades, Prince Andrew was evicted and has relocated to a secluded five-bedroom property on the private Sandringham Estate called Wood Farm. Recent reports suggest that Prince Andrew had a white mobile home delivered to his new property at Marsh Farm in Sandringham, where he is expected to move in once renovations are complete.
The mobile home, a £26,000 Willerby Meridian Lodge model, was reportedly funded by King Charles to cover Prince Andrew’s living expenses. It is intended to accommodate Prince Andrew’s security staff. Despite being purchased by a former royal, the mobile home is described as outdated and compact.
The modest mobile home features two bedrooms, with one being slightly larger than the other. The living space includes a small open-plan kitchen and living room area, with basic brown and grey carpeted floors and vinyl flooring. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, although one bathroom is notably small.
This stark contrast in living arrangements is a far cry from the grand mansion Prince Andrew shared with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, for twenty years. Although initially thought to be for his staff, reports suggest that Prince Andrew uses the mobile home himself during visits to his new residence.
According to a source, Prince Andrew’s embrace of the mobile home may signify a change in his lifestyle following the family rift. Despite initial assumptions that the caravan was for staff use, it appears that Prince Andrew prefers to utilize it for his own comfort. A friend of Sarah Ferguson remarked on the situation, expressing disbelief at Prince Andrew’s transition from ski chalets to a static caravan, suggesting it might not align with his late mother’s expectations for his living arrangements.
