The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home, marking the 14th occasion in the last 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, revealing that the Raptors will commence their campaign on October 21 against the Chicago team at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game against Washington just two days later.
Among the notable matchups in their home games schedule are consecutive clashes with the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17. Additionally, fans can look forward to witnessing the San Antonio Spurs, led by Victor Wembanyama, and the Oklahoma City Thunder, featuring Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, visiting on December 10 and March 10, respectively.
January stands out as the busiest month for the Raptors, with a total of 17 games scheduled, including a six-game homestand. Throughout the season, Toronto will face 15 back-to-back games, with seven of them requiring no travel. The NBA has announced 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two fixtures to be determined after the conclusion of group play in the in-season NBA Cup tournament.
Regrettably, the Raptors have once again been omitted from the prestigious Christmas Day lineup. The team last featured in a Christmas Day game in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
