Rescuers successfully saved four more individuals from a cave in Laos that had flooded ten days earlier. Seven gold hunters were trapped in a narrow underground chamber due to a water rush causing a landslide that blocked their exit. Thai rescuers rescued the first missing person on May 29 and managed to retrieve an additional four within a day. The rescued individuals are receiving medical attention for health evaluations, while efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining two missing persons.
