“Roblox Predator Sentenced to Jail for Stalking Teen Girl”

Date:

A 19-year-old man named Carlo Tritta has been sentenced to jail for showing up uninvited at the home of a teenage girl he met on the online game platform Roblox. Tritta had inappropriate images of the girl, whom he first connected with when she was just 14 years old on Roblox.

Following their initial meeting on Roblox, Tritta continued communicating with the girl on other messaging platforms, leading her to believe they were in a relationship. Hampshire Police reported that Tritta showered the girl with gifts, takeaways, and constant calls and messages, exhibiting concerning behavior.

Upon the girl’s mother discovering the situation, Tritta was arrested in August 2025. Despite being released on bail with strict conditions not to contact the girl or her mother, Tritta persistently reached out to the girl’s friends on social media, called and messaged her frequently, and even attempted to manipulate her into dropping the case against him.

In a disturbing escalation, Tritta reported the girl’s mother to child services and tried to interfere with the police investigation. He eventually traveled over 200 miles to the girl’s home in Manchester, entering the residence uninvited through the back door.

When confronted by the girl and her mother, Tritta caused further distress by damaging a CCTV camera. Subsequently, he faced charges of intimidating a witness, criminal damage, making indecent images of a child, engaging in sexual communications with a child, and involving a child aged 13-15 in viewing sexual content.

Tritta pleaded guilty to all charges at Stockport Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody for sentencing at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, where he received a 28-month jail term. The investigating officer, DC Jodi Bartlett, highlighted the dangers of online predators like Tritta and emphasized the importance of parental awareness and open communication with children about online activities.

Roblox expressed deep concern over the case and reiterated their commitment to safety measures on their platform, including age verification checks and strict policies against child exploitation. They acknowledged the ongoing efforts to enhance safety features, such as advanced AI systems and chat protections, to prevent harmful interactions and protect users.
