“Royal Downsizing: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to be Addressed as ‘Sir'”

Date:

Royal staff who were unsure how to address Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been directed to refer to him as ‘Sir,’ according to reports. Following recent events, Andrew will now have a limited household staff, including only a chef and a valet. This change comes after allegations of inappropriate disclosures to Jeffrey Epstein during his time as a trade envoy for the UK.

Police continued their search of Andrew’s former residence, Royal Lodge, in Windsor, Berkshire, over the weekend. Andrew has denied any wrongdoing in relation to his association with Epstein. The King issued a statement supporting law enforcement following Andrew’s detention.

Currently residing at Wood Farm, Andrew is awaiting the completion of renovations at his new permanent residence in Marsh Farm. The ex-Duke of York was compelled to vacate his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion and relinquish his royal titles. Despite losing his titles, he insisted on staying at the mansion, arguing his status as the Queen’s son.

Royal sources revealed that Andrew will now be addressed as ‘Sir’ by staff, as he has lost his royal titles. His household staff at Marsh Farm will consist of a chef and a valet, a stark contrast to the extensive staff he had at Royal Lodge and Buckingham Palace.

This change marks a significant downsizing in Andrew’s household affairs, reflecting the recent challenges he has faced.
