Senior members of the royal family gathered on a rainy June day to celebrate the marriage of Peter Phillips to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in a private wedding ceremony. The King and Queen were among the prominent attendees at the wedding of Princess Anne’s son, which took place at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire. The elegant bride wore a floor-length lace gown designed by Emilia Wickstead of London, complemented by the Pragnell family tiara.
Also present at the event were the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall with their children, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were notably absent. Despite maintaining a low profile due to controversies surrounding their father, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice attended the wedding accompanied by their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
As the King and Queen arrived, onlookers cheered, and the bride, accompanied by her three bridesmaids – Savannah and Isla, Mr. Phillips’s daughters, and Ms. Sperling’s daughter Georgina – received a warm reception. The newlyweds were captured taking photos outside the church and sharing a kiss in their car post-ceremony.
Additional guests like Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla were also spotted at the event. The church was adorned with flowers, creating a picturesque setting for the wedding celebration. Princess Anne was seen wearing a yellow outfit, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were among the attendees.
The joyous couple left the ceremony with smiles on their faces, while Zara Tindall was noted among the guests. A bystander was seen climbing a ladder over a garden fence to catch a glimpse of the royal guests.
