The family of the late British astrophysicist, Professor Stephen Hawking, has responded to allegations of inappropriate behavior following the emergence of a photo showing him with two women in bikinis from the Epstein files.
A spokesperson for the Hawking Family conveyed that Professor Hawking made significant contributions to physics in the 20th century while battling motor neurone disease, relying on medical equipment for survival. Any suggestion of misconduct on his part was firmly denied.
The two women in the picture with Hawking were reportedly his long-term caregivers, taken at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando in April 2007, contrary to previous assumptions of it being at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, St. Thomas.
Hawking was among distinguished scientists attending a conference hosted by Epstein in 2006. Images of Hawking participating in activities on Epstein’s island were circulated, including a modified submarine tour to accommodate Hawking’s wheelchair due to his condition.
Although mentioned numerous times in released documents pertaining to the Epstein investigation, Hawking faced no criminal accusations. An email by Epstein offering a reward to dispute an alleged involvement of Hawking in illicit activities was highlighted, with no public accusations made by the concerned party.
Additionally, an unverified tip-off in 2019 suggested Hawking and Epstein visited an all-male club in 2011, as per records released by the US Department of Justice.
