Two men have lost their lives, and a woman has been hospitalized following a swimming incident in Australia.
The tragic event occurred at John Locke Place in Gleniffer, located approximately 530 kilometers north of Sydney, on Sunday, January 25, at 6:45 pm. The individuals, all in their 30s, ran into difficulties while swimming in the Never Never River.
Emergency services responded to reports of the trio being submerged in the water. The woman was rescued and treated on-site before being transported to the hospital in a serious condition. It has been reported that she is pregnant.
Despite efforts to revive them, the men could not be saved and passed away at the scene.
The Never Never River is a well-liked destination for swimming activities, with many tourists camping by the riverbank and enjoying its waters.
