Last night, a train station in Wales experienced turmoil when a situation of “serious disorder” unfolded, resulting in punches being thrown and four youths being stabbed.
Video footage circulating from Tenby train station depicted a large group gathering on a platform around 9:50 pm on Tuesday. The video showed a person completely surrounded as the group engaged in physical altercations, with screams heard in the background.
In the video, a male voice can be heard exclaiming, “He just stabbed me, he stabbed me.”
Authorities later confirmed the presence of an individual with a knife at the station and stated that the stabbed youths are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Two suspects, aged 16 and 19, have been apprehended.
Dyfed Powys Police announced an increased police presence in the area and urged any witnesses to come forward to assist in the investigation.
A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police reported, “We responded to reports of serious disorder involving a group of youths at Tenby train station around 9:50 pm on Tuesday, April 7. During the incident, an individual wielded a knife, resulting in four youths sustaining stab wounds.”
“All injuries are currently deemed non-life threatening, and the affected individuals are receiving appropriate medical attention.”
“The prompt arrival of officers led to the arrest of a 16-year-old youth and a 19-year-old man on suspicion of Section 18 assault. They are currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing.”
“British Transport Police are leading the inquiries, and the situation has been contained with the area secured.”
“To address concerns arising from this incident, there will be an increased police presence in the vicinity for reassurance purposes.”
