“Violent School Altercation Raises Safety Concerns”

Date:

A disturbing video capturing a violent altercation between teenage girls has circulated widely online, causing one mother to express concerns about her daughter’s safety at school. The incident took place in Bradley Stoke on March 31, resulting in one girl sustaining a broken wrist and whiplash-like injuries, according to the mother.

The footage, shared by Bristol Live, shows a girl (referred to as Girl A) being attacked by another girl (Girl B) while a third teenager (Girl C) in a white t-shirt intervenes to defend her friend. Subsequently, a fourth girl (Girl D) in a black hoodie joins the fray, leading to a chaotic scuffle where Girl C is cornered and assaulted by two others.

Following the incident, the affected girls, visibly distressed, sought refuge at a nearby leisure center as the mother rushed to their aid. The mother recounted the harrowing experience, describing how her daughter and her friend suffered physical injuries, including damaged teeth for Girl A and a broken wrist, bruises, and whiplash-like injuries for Girl C.

Expressing her concerns about her daughter’s upcoming exams and safety, the mother emphasized Girl C’s brave act of defending her friend and strangers alike. The mother called for an end to such violent encounters and emphasized the importance of ensuring children feel secure.

The video has gained significant traction on social media, amassing nearly 120,000 views. This incident follows a similar attack on another teenage girl outside Zara in Cabot Circus a month earlier, where the victim sustained minor injuries, including bruising and concussion.
