A woman, identified as Maria, has been accused of mutilating her partner’s genitals and fatally stabbing him. The incident unfolded in their shared apartment in the Uribarri neighborhood of Bilbao, Spain. The victim, Luis M, a 67-year-old man originally from Portugal but long-time resident of Bilbao, was found dead with multiple stab wounds, including to his neck. Reports suggest that Maria, a Venezuelan woman in a relationship with Luis for five years, confessed to the crime upon police arrival.
The tragic event came to light when Maria’s daughter, who was reportedly close to Luis, alerted authorities after hearing her mother’s account of the incident. Upon police intervention, the daughter exclaimed, “My mother killed my father,” indicating the severity of the situation. Law enforcement officers discovered the victim’s body inside the apartment, where he had sustained severe injuries, including the removal of his genitals. Reports hint at a possible dispute over jealousy between the couple.
