Police are seeking a woman following a street incident where a 70-year-old man was sexually assaulted and had a gold chain stolen. The victim was accosted by the woman in Aylesbury around 12:40 pm on March 19. The woman engaged in conversation with the man, touched him inappropriately, and offered sexual services. She then snatched a gold Cubin Link chain from the man’s neck and fled towards Autumn Close. The suspect is described as a Malaysian or Thai woman in her early to mid-30s, approximately 5ft to 5ft 2ins tall.
Thames Valley Police reported, “The victim was approached by a woman who engaged in conversation, inappropriately touched him, and offered sexual services. The offender took the victim’s gold chain before fleeing the scene. The suspect, a woman of Malaysian or Thai descent, is described as being in her early to mid-thirties, around 5ft to 5ft 2ins tall, with her hair tied up. She was wearing a black baseball cap and a light grey jogging suit with a possible zip down the front.”
In a separate incident on April 8, a man in his 70s was allegedly sexually assaulted and had his Rolex watch stolen. Detective Constable Mandy Cutler stated that the two incidents in Aylesbury have similarities and are being investigated as linked. The police are exploring possible connections to similar incidents nationwide and are urging witnesses to come forward.
