£10.6 Million Lotto Jackpot Goes Unclaimed

Date:

A British individual who secured a £10.6 million lottery jackpot has unfortunately missed the opportunity to claim their winnings. Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, confirmed today that no valid claim was submitted for the £10.6 million Lotto prize. The winning Lotto ticket, valued at an impressive £10,633,323, was purchased in the London Borough of Bexley for the draw held on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Despite efforts to locate the ticket-holder before the deadline, which expired 180 days after the draw on Thursday, April 2, no one stepped forward to claim the substantial jackpot. The player secured the significant prize by matching all six main numbers (06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59). Unclaimed prizes within the 180-day timeframe are typically allocated to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund, along with any accrued interest, as stated by Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn.

After an extensive search for the unidentified millionaire from Bexley, it was confirmed that the individual did not come forward to collect their Lotto prize, missing out on a life-changing sum. However, the unclaimed winnings will now contribute to supporting National Lottery Good Causes, bolstering the £33 million raised weekly for projects funded by the National Lottery, including those in the Bexley region.

Presently, there are five significant National Lottery prizes exceeding £3.2 million that remain unclaimed. Players are encouraged to verify their tickets for potential wins. In related news, another fortunate Brit recently secured the third-largest UK National Lottery win, claiming £181,073,415.70 by matching all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers in the EuroMillions draw on March 10.

Andy Carter described the win as “incredible,” emphasizing the life-altering impact for the winner, their loved ones, and the wider community. The jackpot victory is poised to bring about substantial changes and positive impacts across various spheres.
