A 15-year-old girl experienced a frightening ordeal lasting seven hours after being forcibly taken into a vehicle in what appears to be a random abduction incident. The incident occurred on Bradgate Road in Bowdon, Greater Manchester, around 6:45 pm on Monday. Law enforcement authorities have apprehended a 56-year-old male in connection with the case.
During the ordeal, the victim was reportedly threatened with a knife. The girl went missing around 9 pm on Monday but was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday in a hotel car park in Knutsford, Cheshire. Following a police alert regarding a specific vehicle, Cheshire police located the said vehicle in the car park of Cottons Hotel and Spa during the early hours, where the teenager was found inside and a man was taken into custody.
Greater Manchester Police, in collaboration with Cheshire Police, arrested a 56-year-old male on suspicion of abduction after the teenage girl was reported missing. The arrested individual remains in police custody for further interrogation.
