Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained during the upcoming Easter and six-week school holidays? Merlin, the owner of over 20 UK attractions including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, and LEGOLAND Windsor, has reduced the price of their Merlin Annual Pass. Families can now enjoy a year of theme park excitement starting at just £99 per person.
This spring sale, available until March 29, offers discounts on Merlin’s three annual pass options. The Essential Merlin Annual Pass, the most affordable choice, is now priced at £99, down from £139. This pass provides 339 days of unlimited access to Merlin attractions, with some limitations on bank holidays and peak weekends.
The Gold pass, offering additional benefits such as free parking and up to 20% off at shops and restaurants in the attractions, has been discounted from £239 to £189. For those seeking a premium experience, the Platinum pass with no date restrictions, four Bring a Friend tickets annually, and a complimentary one-shot Fastrack per visit is now available at £249, reduced from £299.
Monthly memberships are also an option, with the price of Gold membership reduced to £16.99 per month from £19.99, and Platinum membership lowered to £20.99 per month from £24.99 during the sale period.
Moreover, if you have a preference for a specific theme park or local attraction, some Merlin parks offer their own annual passes. For instance, Alton Towers’ annual pass starts at £64 per year, the same as Chessington World of Adventures. Consider whether you prefer unlimited access to various attractions or focusing on a single park for your family outings.
Clubcard points from Tesco can be used to access many Merlin attractions, with 50p worth of Clubcard vouchers exchanged for £1 towards tickets at places like Thorpe Park. Blue Light Card holders can also benefit from exclusive theme park deals throughout the year, including Member Days with discounted entry, fewer crowds, and complimentary parking.
Annual passholders can look forward to new attractions in 2026, such as Alton Towers’ Bluey The Ride: Here Come the Grannies and the World of PAW Patrol at Chessington, along with LEGOLAND Windsor’s 30th-anniversary celebrations.
