**Gunman Dies After Crashing Truck Into Synagogue in Detroit**
Reports indicate that a gunman has passed away following a truck collision at Temple Israel on Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield, Detroit. Law enforcement, including armed police and the FBI, are currently on-site, responding to what is described as an “active situation.”
Witnesses observed individuals fleeing the premises as smoke emanated from the synagogue, with a presence of police cars and emergency vehicles in the vicinity. Temple Israel, a Jewish synagogue known for its preschool and sizable congregation, saw concerned parents hurrying to the location. A member of the synagogue mentioned that they believed the preschool was in session at the time of the incident.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the ongoing incident, stating that FBI personnel in Michigan are collaborating with local partners to address the apparent vehicle ramming and active shooter situation at Temple Israel Synagogue. Footage from the scene depicts numerous vehicles parked near the building and anxious onlookers gathered behind barricades.
