They emphasized that the victims were failed by systemic negligence, highlighting the preventable nature of the disaster. Despite facing criticism, Mr. Farage declined to offer an apology, stating that Mr. Dudley’s comments were insulting to many.
Before his dismissal, Mr. Dudley had a controversial history, including previous remarks about “aggressive begging” and criticism from then-Prime Minister Theresa May. His background in finance and banking spanned over three decades, with notable roles in various organizations and projects related to housing and infrastructure development.
