An Australian traveler who found himself stuck in Dubai following the Iranian missile attack that shut down the city’s airport described being near the Fairmont The Palm hotel when a massive explosion shook the area.
Scott Graham recounted his experience, mentioning being in a restaurant across the road from the hotel when the explosion occurred, causing chaos and panic among the people present. The shockwave from the blast reverberated through the city, leaving dust on his restaurant table.
Witnessing the fear and confusion around him, Scott highlighted the uncertainty that followed the missile strike, with nearby hotels offering shelter as more missiles were launched into the sky.
