A vicious gang known as the ‘wolf pack’ that sexually assaulted a British teenager in Magaluf responded coldly when questioned about their actions.
Seven French nationals and one Swiss citizen, part of the gang, were sentenced to prison terms ranging from nine to 11 years by the Audiencia Provincial court in Palma, Majorca this week for their involvement in the horrific assault on a young British holidaymaker in August 2023. Another member received a four-year sentence for a sexual assault that did not include penetration.
All eight individuals confessed to recording the abhorrent gang rape that took place in room 108 of the BH Mallorca Resort. Additionally, two of the perpetrators shared the video on Snapchat.
Many of the offenders exhibited a lack of cooperation with the police and the judicial system during the investigation, opting to remain silent throughout the process.
According to a source, these men, seemingly regular individuals from stable backgrounds, refused to provide information or make statements. They did not attribute their actions to substance abuse or attempt to justify their behavior as out of character. The nature of the case is deeply disturbing.
During the assault, French tourists Khalil Abderrahmen Mejbri and Romain Charles Michel Galatioto engaged in “oral penetration” of the victim, who was heavily intoxicated and became unconscious during the half-hour ordeal.
Galatioto committed this act seven times while the victim was partially clothed. Court documents, signed by all the perpetrators as part of their plea agreements, corroborate this information.
Frenchman Anthony Guy Gerard Wengler and Swiss national Lucas Haiaiel Ngandjeu Djamen Tchatchou sexually assaulted the victim at least once, as did Thomas Eric Coretin Wisniewski, also of French nationality.
Tchatchou and Wengler, along with Mejbri, spat at and whipped the victim, while Satilmis Sahan, another Frenchman, slapped her.
The assault came to light when a hotel security guard discovered the victim crying in the lobby and alerted the authorities. Two suspects were apprehended in foreign countries under a European Arrest Warrant and extradited, while six were arrested in Majorca.
At the time of their arrest, six of the men were between 18 and 26 years old, and none of them had previous criminal records in Spain.
