Prince Andrew, also known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, was taken into custody today on suspicion of engaging in misconduct while holding a public office. According to FBI documents, it is alleged that he witnessed a young girl being subjected to electric shocks at Frogmore Cottage.
The accuser claimed that she was restrained on a table and subjected to electric shocks by Ghislaine Maxwell, a former partner of Jeffrey Epstein, while Andrew was among a group of men present in the room. These allegations stem from the Epstein Files, which consist of three million emails, documents, and images recently released by the US Department of Justice.
In a report dated December 7, 2020, the alleged victim recounted being taken to Frogmore Cottage and later recognizing the location after it gained media attention following renovations in 2018. It was noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle resided at the property from April 2019 to March 2020, but there is no indication that they were aware of the alleged incidents involving Andrew at Frogmore Cottage.
The FBI document detailed the victim’s claims of being tortured and physically assaulted by Maxwell, including being beaten with a broomstick. The victim also described an incident from her childhood where she was taken to parties as part of a pedophile ring and later hit by a car with a unique license plate.
Thames Valley Police arrested Prince Andrew at his residence, Wood Farm, as part of an investigation into the allegations of misconduct in public office. Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright assured the public of a thorough investigation and pledged to provide updates as necessary.
