A tragic incident occurred as a 14-year-old boy lost his life following a collision between an electric bike and a car. The boy, identified as Finley Dawson, was riding the e-bike with a 15-year-old passenger on Newbold Road in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The accident took place at approximately 8:30 pm on Thursday when the e-bike collided with a Kia Sportage, resulting in both riders being thrown onto the road and sustaining serious injuries.
Upon arrival at the hospital, Finley’s injuries were deemed fatal, and he passed away the next day. The passenger is currently hospitalized in a serious but stable condition, according to a report by Derbyshire Live. Derbyshire Police mentioned that the driver of the Kia is cooperating with the investigation as a witness, and no arrests have been made.
