Natasha Archer, the former right-hand woman of the Princess of Wales, has set tongues wagging with a mysterious post on Instagram. Having worked for Prince William and Kate for 15 years, she started as a personal assistant and eventually became their senior private executive assistant.
Known for her unofficial role as Kate’s stylist, Natasha recently announced her departure from the royal couple to establish her private consultancy. With over 10,000 followers on her new Instagram page, she hinted at something new with the cryptic message “Coming soon” along with the date ‘02.04.26’.
The post garnered attention from Phillipa Lepley, a renowned couture designer who has crafted several dresses for Kate. Natasha was a close part of the royal circle, even assisting Kate at St Mary’s Hospital before the birth of Prince George in 2013 and supporting her through significant events like her surgery in January 2024.
Credited with shaping Kate’s fashion choices, Natasha played a key role in popularizing designers like Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, leading to the “Kate Middleton Effect.” She also influenced William to wear a traditional sherwani in Pakistan and collaborated with Kate on sustainability efforts, such as renting a dress for an awards ceremony in 2022.
Upon her departure from the royal household, it was reported that the Prince and Princess of Wales wished Natasha success in her new endeavors. Despite her exit, Kate has chosen not to hire a new stylist, showcasing her confidence in selecting her outfits for royal engagements.
