A man described as ‘beautiful’ has tragically passed away following a violent incident outside a pub in Salford where he was assaulted physically. The victim, identified as Ben Wright, was involved in an altercation near Dessie’s Place on Liverpool Road in Cadishead around 2:40 am on Sunday.
Emergency services responded to the scene involving multiple individuals. Mr. Wright suffered severe injuries, particularly to his head, and was swiftly taken to the hospital. Despite receiving critical care on Tuesday morning, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
Online tributes poured in, honoring him as a cherished individual who will be deeply missed. It has been revealed that Ben’s organs will be donated to potentially save other lives. Dessie’s Place, close to the incident site, shared a heartfelt message expressing their sorrow over his passing and emphasizing his integral role within their community.
Family members and friends also expressed their grief and love for Ben through various public messages, highlighting his impact as a kind-hearted and unforgettable individual. The local band NXMAD remembered him as a generous soul always willing to lend a helping hand and bring joy to those around him.
In the aftermath of the attack, a police cordon was established around Dessie’s Place pub. Three individuals, all in their twenties, were arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and later released on bail pending further investigations.
